Brown leather Céline Horse Carriage / Sulky Box Vintage bag from the 1970s – Italian manufacture
Authentic Céline Paris vintage bag, iconic model Horse Carriage / Sulky Box, dating from the 1970s. A piece particularly representative of the "Old Céline", recognisable by its spectacular gold clasp Calèche / Sulky, inspired by the historical equestrian universe of the House.
Crafted from smooth chocolate brown leather, the bag features a structured flap construction and a wide adjustable leather shoulder strap. The gold metal stirrup-shaped attachments and the central clasp adorned with the carriage give this model its distinctive character.
The interior, entirely made in chocolate brown tones, is remarkably organised with three compartments, two flat pockets and one zipped pocket. The gold marking "CÉLINE PARIS – MADE IN ITALY" is present under the flap. The pull tab of the inner pocket is also adorned with a "C" medal.
A true collector's piece from the Old Céline, both elegant and functional, characteristic of the House's equestrian design in the 1970s.

Good vintage condition.
Condition report
Very good overall condition considering the age of the piece. The exterior leather remains smooth, supple and well-maintained, with a beautiful patina and slight signs of use.
Some traces of time are nonetheless present and visible in the photographs: slight localized cracks in the leather, small marks and superficial scratches, as well as small beginnings of tearing in the inner pocket and at certain points on the shoulder strap. The gilding of the metal elements also shows a natural patina related to age.
These imperfections remain consistent with an authentic vintage piece of over 40 years and are documented in detail in the photographs.
